Overview

Households in Bangladesh had no simple, trustworthy way to understand and check their electricity bills. E-Bill calculates monthly bills with slab-aware accuracy across all distribution companies and consumer categories.

The core calculation logic is open-sourced as an npm library, so other developers can build on it, and the whole project is public on GitHub.

What the build involved

  • Built a focused, accessible calculator with a clean UI and full localisation.
  • Extracted the slab-based calculation logic into a reusable open-source npm library.
  • Open-sourced the full project on GitHub for the community.
